MYSURU: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday attributed India's accelerated progress in manufacturing, innovation, and the digital economy directly to the formidable capabilities of its youth. Speaking at the inauguration of the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Youth Centre - Viveka Smaraka in Mysuru, the Prime Minister highlighted the transformative impact of young Indians across key sectors.

Addressing the gathering, Prime Minister Modi emphasized that the nation's journey towards becoming a global hub for semiconductor manufacturing is powered by the strength of its youth. He further noted that India's economy is among the fastest growing worldwide, a testament to the vigour and enterprise of its younger demographic. The country has also emerged as the world's third-largest startup ecosystem and the second-largest mobile phone manufacturer, achievements he credited unequivocally to the younger generation.

Invoking the timeless vision of Swami Vivekananda, the Prime Minister reiterated that principles of education, equality, and service form the bedrock of national progress. He stressed that these foundational values, coupled with the dynamism of India's youth, are essential for continued development and global leadership.

The Prime Minister's remarks reinforced the government's focus on harnessing the potential of its young population to achieve ambitious national goals, positioning them as the primary catalysts for India's ongoing ascent on the global stage.
