The state administration and the forest department are already electrified following the prime minister's first visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site.


Digital Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to make his first visit to Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve, a UNESCO world heritage site on March 8, 2024. 

 On March 8, the prime minister is scheduled to arrive in Kaziranga in the evening and stay the night at the Police Guest House. The Prime Minister will visit the Kohora Range in the National Park on March 9.

The state administration and the forest department are already electrified following the prime minister's first visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site.

Principal Chief Conservator of Forests MK Yadav, Chief Secretary Paban Borthakur, Director General of Police GP Singh, Special Director General of Police Harmeet Singh, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Chandra Mohan Patowary, and several other high-ranking officials visited possible locations for the Prime Minister's visit to Kaziranga sooner on Tuesday.

"The prime minister will arrive at Kaziranga on March 8 and visit the park on March 9. For him, we have planned an elephant and jeep safari inside the park. We quickly met with the Kaziranga Forest Department to go over security-related issues and make sure all preparations were completed in accordance with protocol, "state forest minister Chandra Mohan Patowary stated in a media statement. 

The prime minister's visit to Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve, according to the minister of forests, will increase the World Heritage Site's significance on a worldwide scale. 

The state minister for forests has stated that the prime minister will visit Arunachal Pradesh after his day-long visit to Kaziranga National Park.
