According to media sources, PM Modi's elderly mother was transported to the UN Mehta hospital in Ahmedabad after her health was deemed critical. The hospital has yet to clarify the precise reason for her hospitalization.
It should be mentioned that PM Modi's mother, Heeraben Modi, turned 100 this year, and the prime minister also paid a visit to his mother in Gandhinagar earlier this year when campaigning for the Gujarat assembly elections in 2022.
PM Modi's younger brother, Prahlad Damodar Modi, was also taken to the hospital after his car was involved in an accident on Tuesday evening. His family received minor injuries and is currently seeking treatment for their wounds.
