On August 5, leaders of the Congress, including former party chairman Rahul Gandhi, protested against price increases, unemployment, and the increase in the federal sales tax (GST) on necessities by dressing in all-black.

Digital Desk: In reference to the Congress' most recent statewide demonstration in black clothing against price increases, unemployment, and other issues, Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed on Wednesday that some people were turning to black magic. According to Modi, these individuals were turning to black magic because they were mired in pessimism and sorrow and wished to regain the confidence of others.

"Due to their desperation and pessimism, some people turn to black magic. On August 5, we witnessed an attempt to spread black magic. These people believe that by dressing in all-black, their desperation would end ", PM told media.

However, he continued, "These people are oblivious that no matter how much they practice black magic and adhere to superstitions, people will never again trust them.

On August 5, leaders of the Congress, including former party chairman Rahul Gandhi, protested against price increases, unemployment, and the increase in the federal sales tax (GST) on necessities by dressing in all-black.

Amit Shah, the union home minister, and other BJP leaders already connected the demonstration to the Ram temple foundation day and criticized it for sending a subliminal message of appeasement politics.

"The Congress picked this day for protest and donned black garments because they want to deliver a subliminal message to further push their appeasement politics since on this day itself, the PM lay the foundation of Ram Janambhoomi," Shah had stated.

Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, has called the Congress protests an "insult to Ram Bhakts."

Arvind Kejriwal, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), came under fire from Modi for calling for free power, healthcare, and education for all inhabitants of the nation at the nation's celebration of its 75th anniversary of independence In Gujarat, which is up for elections, AAP has also stepped up its campaign and made a number of promises to voters. According to Modi, those who show up and offer free gasoline engage in self-centered politics because such actions inhibit the nation from being independent.

If their policies are self-centered, anyone is free to come and declare to give away free gasoline and diesel. These actions will deny our children their rights and stop the nation from being self-sufficient. The burden on the nation's taxpayers will increase, he said.
