Srinagar: The security forces of Jammu and Kashmir arrested two active terrorists of the Resistance Front (TRF) in separate searches. The police alleged to have seized arms and ammunition from their possession.

One of the two terrorists was held from south Kashmir’s Wahadan area throughout a night search operation based on specific information to the officials.

A police officer stated the search operation was started at the Wahadan area of Aishmuqam by joint units. One active terrorist identified as Hafiz Abdulla Malik, a resident of Ganjipora was held through searches. He continued that one gun and seven bullets were moreover recovered.

The officer also stated that they seized a gun and AK-47. They have also seized two magazines with 40 rounds after further inquiry.

The second terrorist was arrested in the Pulwama district. He was identified as Sarwir Ahmad Mir, a resident of Bathen.

A CRPF officer stated he was held in a joint search operation, and two grenades were seized from him. He added that he is an active militant of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) or TRF outfit, who entered the militant positions recently.
