Digital Desk: Several local businessmen are facing financial difficulties after helping an Assam police constable in Kohora, Kaziranga.


The constable, Biswajit Gogoi, had taken goods on credit from various shops but has yet to clear his dues.


The shopkeepers have been facing serious difficulties following the police constable's misconduct.  


During his posting in Kohora, Gogoi allegedly bought a two-wheeler using a loan taken in the name of a local businessman.


Despite being transferred from the area, Gogoi has not repaid the borrowed money, leaving the businessman in a tough spot.


When approached for repayment, Gogoi allgedly gave multiple excuses.


The affected businessmen have now turned to media, urging the constable to settle their dues.
