Producer Ekta Kapoor withdraws her Supreme Court petition following relief from the Patna High Court in connection with the objectionable content in her online series.

Digital Desk: Following relief from the Patna High Court, producer Ekta Kapoor withdraws her Supreme Court petition.

Kapoor filed the petition in the Supreme Court, appealing the arrest warrants issued against her for allegedly disrespecting soldiers and hurting the feelings of their families in a web series aired on her OTT platform ALTBalaji.

Producer Ekta Kapoor received relaxation from the Patna High Court in the XXX web series case as a result of this.

The Patna High Court informed Ekta and Shobha Kapoor that no action would be taken against them, and she was immediately released from custody.

Previously, the Supreme Court slammed producer Ekta Kapoor for "objectionable content" in her online series 'XXX,' claiming she was contaminating the minds of the country's youth.

The warrant was granted by a trial court in Begusarai, Bihar, after an ex-serviceman, Shambhu Kumar, filed a complaint in 2020, alleging that the online series 'XXX' Season 2 had multiple inappropriate scenes involving a soldier's wife.

During the most recent hearing, the Supreme Court bench of Justices Ajay Rastogi and CT Ravikumar stated: "Something must be done." You are corrupting the minds of this country's young people. It is open to everyone. Everyone has access to OTT (Over The Top) content. What kind of options do you give the people? On the contrary, you are corrupting the minds of children.
