Nupur Sharma claimed that her threat to life has escalated since the Supreme Court blamed her for the agitation in the nation.

Digital Desk: On Tuesday, the Supreme Court will hear the appeal submitted by BJP spokeswoman Nupur Sharma, who has since been suspended. The top court has scheduled the petition for tomorrow.

A bench made up of Justice Surya Kant and Justice JB Pardiwala will hear the matter.

Nupur Sharma, who is the subject of nine FIRs for allegedly making offensive comments against the Prophet Mohammad, filed a request with the Supreme Court for a stay on her arrest in connection with any of the FIRs. She also attempted to reverse her request for the previous petitions to be withdrawn in light of the SC bench's disapproval.

Nupur Sharma claimed that her threat to life has escalated since the Supreme Court blamed her for the agitation in the nation.

Her most recent petition will be heard by the same bench that heard her initial petition during a break.

Numerous FIRs were filed against Nupur Sharma as a result of the commotion her comments about the Prophet Mohammad had caused.

As the initial complaint was lodged in Delhi, she went back to the SC on Monday evening to ask them to combine all the FIRs that had been filed against her there.

After getting harsh censure from the SC for her remarks, the former BJP spokesperson filed a petition with the Supreme Court, claiming that she had been receiving rape and death threats on a regular basis. She has requested for Delhi to combine the FIRs.

Earlier this month, the SC harshly criticised Nupur Sharma for her televised comments about the Prophet Muhammad and declared that she is solely to blame for the instability in the nation.

"The manner she has inspired the entire country," the bench had stated. She still has the audacity and bravery to come to this court rather than the relevant high courts and trial courts to get redress. This woman is solely to blame for starting fires all around the nation.
