Gandhi and fellow Congressmen KC Venugopal and Nana Patole can be seen waiting on stage for the performance of "Rashtriya Geet" in an allegedly viral video...

Digital Desk: Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra is again on the headlines, but this time it's not in a good way. When Rahul Gandhi was standing on the stage at a public meeting in Maharashtra's Washim, a serious blunder occurred. A rumoured video shows Gandhi, along with fellow Congress leaders KC Venugopal and Nana Patole, standing on stage, waiting for 'Rashtriya Geet' to be played.

While Rahul and others were waiting for India's 'Rashtriya Geet,' much to Congress' chagrin, 'Sayaun Thunga Phool Ka,' Nepal's national anthem, started to play. It was only after a few seconds that the assembled parties realised what was playing was not India's 'Rashtriya Geet'! The video has already gone viral, with many people sharing it.

Amar Prasad Reddy, a Tamil Nadu BJP politician, uploaded the video with the caption, "Rahul Gandhi, what is this?"

Following his address, Rahul Gandhi declared the gathering to be over and requested that the national anthem be played. While Congress leaders stood on the stage, music was played. Rahul Gandhi then motioned to the leaders, and the music was turned off, followed by Jana Gana Mana.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra, which began on September 7 in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, has so far covered 28 districts in six states and is currently in Maharashtra's Akola district. On November 20 Rahul-led party will enter Madhya Pradesh.
