Digital Desk: On Thursday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Guwahati issued a critical weather forecast for the city.
Thunderstorms with lightning and light rain are expected in various Assam districts, according to the IMD.
IMD Guwahati released a forecast announcement for Thunderstorm with Lightning and Light Rain, which is extremely likely to occur in isolated locations over Baksa, Cachar, Hailakandi, Kamrup, Kamrup Metropolitan, Karimganj, and Udalguri districts in the next 3 hours, issued in the public interest by ASDMA.
Residents and authorities in impacted areas are asked to remain cautious and take the necessary actions to protect their safety.
