Digital Desk: In a major development , film director Rajesh Bhuyan has chosen to eliminate all the scenes of three accused, Shekharjyoti Goswami, Amritprava Mahanta and Siddharth Sharma in the much-awaited movie ‘Roi Roi Binol’, the dream movie of the late music legend, Zubeen Garg.


The controversy erupted soon after the release of the film’s first song, “Mur Mon,” on Tuesday, 7th October . The track, which marked the beginning of the film’s musical journey, sparked widespread outrage among fans and the general public when viewers noticed the appearance of Shekharjyoti Goswami, one of the accused in the ongoing investigation into Zubeen Garg’s mysterious death.


Following the backlash, social media was flooded with demands to remove all footage featuring Goswami and others linked to the case. Responding swiftly to the public sentiment, the director Rajesh Bhuyan announced that the scenes would be removed from  the movie.


“This project is Zubeen’s dream, and I hold immense respect for the emotions of his admirers. Therefore, we have decided to remove the scenes in question,” Bhuyan stated.


The decision has been widely praised by Zubeen’s fans, who view it as a heartfelt tribute to the late artist’s legacy and vision. Bhuyan has been praised by his supporters around Assam who have stressed on his sensitivity in paying tribute to the memory of one of the most popular cultural symbols of the state so that ‘Roi Roi Binale’ is indeed a true indication of the creative spirit of Zubeen Garg.
