Digital Desk: The investigation into the mysterious death of singer Zubeen Garg has taken another serious turn as his two personal security officers (PSOs), Paresh Baishya and Nandeshwar Bora, appeared reported at the CID office for questioning on the third consecutive day.
As per sources, both PSOs are reported are likely to be arrested soon as the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has reportedly discovered evidences of huge financial transactions in their bank accounts.
The initial evidence obtained indicates that approximately 70 lakh was deposited and withdrawn using the account of Nandeshwar Bora and about 40 lakh was deposited and withdrawn using the account of Paresh Baishya. The SIT suspects that the financial transaction was done through Google Pay and other online payment systems.
Investigators are now probing the source and purpose of these funds as part of the broader investigation into the financial irregularities connected to Zubeen Garg’s case. Both PSOs continue to face intense interrogation as the CID works to unravel the truth behind these suspicious monetary dealings.
