Digital Desk: In the midst of rumours regarding Raju Srivastava's deteriorating health, his younger brother Deepu Srivastava has provided an update about the comedian-actor’s health condition.

In the video, Deepu Srivastava said, "Please do not believe the rumours. One of the nation's top hospitals is located in Delhi, and your favourite Raju Ji is there. He is being treated by top physicians. He is also getting better. A fighter, Raju Bhai, will soon return with his "Comedy Ki Dukaan.  So, don't be alarmed. Physicians are doing their best. Just pray for a quick recovery for him."

He also urged people to only believe health updates that come from their family. "You'll be informed when the family shares an update. Therefore, don't trust other people. Just be patient. Raju Ji is coming back."

Earlier, Raju Srivastava’s wife, Shikha Srivastava, stated on Thursday that her husband is "stable" and receiving proper care from the doctors.

"He is stable. Doctors are giving him good care. Raju Ji is a fighter, and he'll return to be with us all. "We need your prayers and good wishes," Shikha said.

Raju Srivastava, who rose to fame after appearing on the comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2005, suffered a heart attack while working out in a Delhi gym. He was immediately taken to the AIIMS in Delhi.

Last week, Srivastava's family sent a statement on his social media accounts stating that his condition was "stable" and asked people to "ignore any rumor/fake news being spread."

Raju Srivastava has appeared in Hindi movies, including Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar, the remake version of Bombay to Goa, and Aamdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiya. He is also the chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Film Development Council.
