Digital Desk: The premiere of Kannada actor Rakshit Shetty's most recent movie, 777 Charlie, is slated for OTT release later this month. In Karnataka, 777 Charlie has played for 25 days in more than 100 theatres. Moreover, experts are confident that the film will remain in theatres for a longer time. The film is doing well at the box office, and the film's makers recently organized a press conference to acknowledge the film's commercial success.

From July 29, the film will be streaming on Voot Select.

The plot of 777 Charlie centres around a man and a dog's relationship. When it was released in June, the movie received stellar reviews. Along with Charlie—the movie's heart and soul—Rakshit Shetty, Sangeetha Sringeri, Raj B. Shetty, Danish Sait, Bobby Simha, Abhijit Mahesh, and other notable actors also starred in key roles.

Rakshit Shetty, a fellow actor who co-stars with Charlie in a supporting role, recognizes and appreciates Charlie as the star of this film.

More than 5% of the revenue, which legitimately belongs to Charlie, the dog, will be donated to groups that support and take care of rescue dogs around the country. The 5% is equivalent to about Rs 4-5 crore. Approximately 10%, or Rs 710 crore, will also be distributed to the 200 production team members who worked on this film.
