The grand opening of the Ram temple in Ayodhya will commence in December 2023 and finish with the installation of the Ram Lalla idol on Makar Sankranti on January 14 or 15, 2024.

Digital Desk: According to Mahant Kamal Nayan Das of Mani Ram Das Chhavni Peeth, Ayodhya, the idol of Ram Lalla (baby Lord Ram) would be installed at the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya by the third week of January 2024, when temple gates will be opened for devotees.

He also stated that roughly 70% of the temple's building work was completed. Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, the chairman of the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust, has been succeeded by Kamal Nayan. "Devotees are eagerly awaiting the opening of Ram Mandir," Sharad Sharma, regional spokesperson for the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) in Ayodhya, stated.

Swami Govind Dev Giri, treasurer of the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust, has previously stated in Dombivli, Maharashtra, that the Ram Mandir will be available to devotees by the third week of January 2024.
