Digital Desk: Good news for cricket fans in Tinsukia!


After a long gap of 25 years, the prestigious Ranji Trophy is making a comeback to the town. After the full renovation and upgradation  of the Tinsukia District Sports Association Stadium, two Ranji Trophy matches have been scheduled  during this upcoming  season.


The first match will be played between Assam and Services  from 25th October 25 till 28th October  and the second will occur between Assam and Railways  from 1st November 1 till 4th November.  


The last Ranji Trophy match held in Tinsukia was in January 2002 between Assam and Odisha.

The team will be headed by the star Assam cricket player Riyan Parag, adding to the excitement among local fans.
