Digital Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a rare scene appearance in Parliament on Monday. Parliament witnesses dissimilarities and opposite opinions among the party members most of the time. However, Prime Minister Modi on Monday greeted Opposition members. He also has welcomed opposition Congress president Sonia Gandhi with folded hands in the Lok Sabha before starting proceedings at the commencement of Parliament's monsoon session. PM Modi entered the House five minutes earlier before the arrival of other members. He walked to the Opposition benches and greeted leaders seated in the row.  The Opposition bench leaders included former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav, Leader of Congress in the House Mallikarjun Kharge, and Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker M. Thambidurai and Sonia Gandhi. Prime Minister Modi also had a short exchange with Kharge and Yadav briefly. Lok Janshakti Party member Ramchandra Paswan touched Modi's feet in a gesture of admiration. Previously, PM Modi also requested that all political parties work in the nation's welfare. Moreover, he hoped that all the parliamentarians would debate quality during the over three-week-long monsoon session in the nation's appeal. "This monsoon session is very significant in multiple forms as the nation will select its new President," Modi expressed after arriving at Parliament to cast his vote in the presidential poll. Prime Minister also added, "GST offers the interest that can be gained when all parties come jointly and function for the nation. The GST spirit is concerning developing more power jointly. I expect the same GST nature stays in the session."
