The minister also said that students are allowed to take admission in the same schools where they appeared for the HSLC exam.

Digital Desk: Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu stated on Wednesday that students who did not pass the HSLC exams will be required to be re-admission to Class 10 for regular classes.

Pegu twitted, "Students who didn't pass in the HSLC Examination, 2023 are required to take re-admission in Class X for regular classes. Then only they will be allowed to appear in the subsequent examination. Please go through the following notification by SEBA."

The minister also said that students are allowed to take admission in the same schools where they appeared for the HSLC exam.

If the parent school is not offering re-admissions, students may take admission in any other school as long as the examination centre is the same as their HSLC 10th Exam. Candidates should be aware that their registration numbers for re-admission will not change.

It is to be noted that the HSLC-2023 recorded a pass percentage of 72.69, which has been regarded as one of the highest in the decade after the HSLC-2021.
