Bengaluru: In a stinging objection to an advertisement by multinational tyre manufacturing company - ‘Ceat Ltd’, in which Bollywood megastar Aamir Khan is seen advising people to avoid bursting crackers on the streets, BJP MP Anant kumar Hegde has asked the company to also inscribe the issue of ‘blocking roads in the name of Namaz and noise emitted from mosques during Azan.

"Your company's recent advertisement in which Aamir Khan is seen advising people not to burst firecrackers on the streets, is giving a very good message. Your concern to public issues is commendable. Considering the same, I request you to address one more problem faced by the people on the roads of India, i.e., blocking of roads in the name of Namaz every Friday and on other important festivals of Muslims," Mr. Hegde mentioned in a letter to the head of the company.
