Srinagar: With the nation battling with the second wave of Covid-19 and hoards of medical supply scarcity, registration for Amarnath Yatra has been temporarily suspended.

In view of the evolving covid cases and degrading health crisis of the country, Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board on Thursday said that it is constantly monitoring the situation and it will reopen the registration once the situation improves.

Online registrations for this year’s Amarnath Yatra commenced on April 15. This year’s 56 day-yatra will commence simultaneously on both routes from June 28 and culminate on Raksha Bandha, August 22.
