Digital Desk: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced a much-needed respite for Delhi NCR with forecasted light to moderate rain and winds, offering relief from the ongoing heatwave.
The IMD's latest update highlights that areas across North, North-East, North-West, West, and Central Delhi, alongside adjoining regions like Lohi Dehat, Ghaziabad, Sonipat, and Rohtak, will experience these weather changes imminently. Wind speeds are expected to vary between 20-30 km/h during this period.
As Delhi-NCR grapples with severe heat conditions, the IMD anticipates the monsoon's arrival around June 30, bringing hopes for cooler temperatures. A red alert has been issued for West Uttar Pradesh due to the intense heat, underscoring the critical weather conditions prevailing in the region.
