Digital Desk: In a fresh development it's been revealed that on Saturday, one IPS officer and two APS officials were transferred and placed as part of a significant reorganisation of the Assam Police.
The following transfers have been made according to an order from the Assam Government's Home and Political Department; Check out the list here-
Aparna Natrajan, IPS (RR-2014): Superintendent of Police (SP), Dhubri, has been transferred and assigned as Principal of the Lachit Borphukan Police Academy in Dergaon, Golaghat district, with effect from the date of taking charge against the existing vacancy.
Navin Singh, APS (DR-2004): SP of Biswanath, has been transferred and placed as SP, Dhubri, with effect from the date of taking over command in place of Aparna Natrajan, IPS.
Subhasish Baruah, APS (DR-2004): Asstt. Inspector General of Police (Esstt./Admn.), of Guwahati's Ulubari, has been transferred and placed as SP, Biswanath, with effect from the date of taking over command, in place of Navin Singh, APS.
