There is a game of musical chairs between Rahul and Sonia Gandhi for the position of party president; no other person can even take over as party leader. And they are commenting on the nation,” the BJP leader said.

Digital Desk: Sambit Patra, the national spokesperson for the BJP, attacked Rahul and Sonia Gandhi harshly on Sunday after the Congress criticised the government for inflation and price increases. Sambit Patra claimed that the "Parivar Bachao Andolan" was really the "Mehngai par Halla Bol rally."

Sambit Patra stated at a press conference that "the Gandhis feel fully besieged and have begun this demonstration to rescue themselves, their identity."

Sambit Patra attacked the Gandhis, claiming that Rahul Gandhi's party only consisted of two people. The Congress is not shared by Rahul and Sonia with its own members. There is a game of musical chairs between Rahul and Sonia Gandhi for the position of party president; no other person can even take over as party leader. And they are commenting on the nation,” the BJP leader said.

Sambit Patra described it as "regrettable," adding that "a leader of the opposition, an MP, has made unfortunate words today. Rahul Gandhi said that the judiciary and media were bought. The phrase Rahul Gandhi used today is astounding.

The BJP leader pleaded with the Supreme Court to see the Congressman's remark as an act of contempt of court and demanded punishment against Rahul Gandhi.
