Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh has roped in actor Sanjay Dutt as the brand ambassador of the state's golden jubilee celebration. The celebration marking the 50th year of the naming of the state will continue for a month.
The actor landed in Dibrugarh airport, continuing his journey towards Mechukha in Arunachal Pradesh. He would undertake a public relations campaign for the celebrations.
Sanjay Dutt will appear in a series of commercial videos to highlight Arunachal Pradesh as a tourist attraction. Dutt would spend two days at Mechukha.

On Monday, the Bollywood actor, mostly known for his 'Munna Bhai' character, arrives at Mechukha in the Shi-Yomi district.
Moreover, Dutt will additionally get engaged with local youths on a series of initiatives on substance misuse and problems that create a lot of concern in the state.
During the golden jubilee celebration, the state intends to showcase the state's arts, culture, and native sports. The festival will start on January 20, 2022, in Ziro of Arunachal's Lower Subansiri district. The celebrations will conclude on February 20, 2022.
