The online registration for Class IX students for the 2024 academic year will begin in April 2024, according to a statement released by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA). Like the previous year's procedure, each school's 11-digit UDISE Code will be needed for registration.

This year, however, the 17-digit Class VIII Student ID—which is available in the UDISE database for private schools and is utilized in Gunotsav or Siksha Setu for government schools—will be required.

According to the instructions on the Class VIII marks sheet, which must be collected upon the student's admission to Class IX, schools are instructed to enter this ID into the registration portal. In due course, SEBA will provide more information, including precise registration dates as well as comprehensive instructions.
