Mr. Khan will always be accompanied by six armed security guards when operating under the Y+ security protection.

Digital Desk: The Mumbai Police will provide Shah Rukh Khan with Y+ security cover after the actor reported receiving death threats following the success of "Pathaan" and "Jawan."

Mr. Khan will always be accompanied by six armed security guards when operating under the Y+ security protection. The popular actor had previously been escorted by two security guards.

The actor allegedly wrote the Maharashtra government recently and said that he was getting death threats after delivering back-to-back blockbusters. The Maharashtra government then decided to increase the security protection offered to the well-known actor.

Actor Salman Khan previously had Y+ security protection last year as a result of threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang.

Shah Rukh Khan is known for resisting intimidation and has already had run-ins with the Mumbai mafia.

Sanjay Gupta, a popular Bollywood director, recently praised the movie "Jawan" and Mr. Khan on social media. He praised Mr. Khan for his will to persevere in the face of obstacles, such as gangster threats.

"Back in the 90s when the underworld bullying of film stars was at its peak, Shah Rukh Khan was THE ONLY star who never gave in. 'Goli marni hai mar do, par tumhaare liye kaam nahin karoonga. Main Pathan hoon (shoot me if you want to, but I won't work for you, I am a Pathan),' he said. He's the same today (sic)," Mr Gupta had posted on X.

A security cover is offered to citizens who are in danger of losing their lives. Citizens in such situations are required to pay a charge or provide a security deposit to cover the cost of the protection, according to Maharashtra government policy.
