Digital Desk: Shah Rukh Khan sent Prime Minister Narendra Modi a sweet birthday message in which he asked the leader to take the day off from work. On September 17, PM Modi turned 72, and several celebrities, including Kangana Ranaut, Ajay Devgn, and Akshay Kumar, took to social media to wish him well. On Saturday afternoon, Shah Rukh took to Twitter to wish the Prime Minister a happy birthday.

 

Shah Rukh Khan wrote in his tweet, "Your commitment to the well-being of our country and its people is greatly appreciated. May you have the strength and health to accomplish all of your objectives. Take the day off and celebrate your birthday, sir. Congratulations on your birthday."

 

Earlier in the day, Akshay Kumar posted a photo with Narendra Modi to wish him a happy birthday. According to the actor, "Your vision, warmth, and ability to work are just a few of the many things that I find deeply inspiring. @narendramodi ji, happy birthday. I wish you health, happiness, and a prosperous new year."

 

In her birthday greeting, Kangana Ranaut referred to the Prime Minister as the "most powerful man on the planet." The actor captioned an Instagram Story photo of them from an event, "From selling tea on railway platforms as a child to becoming the most powerful man on the planet, what an incredible journey... We wish you a long and prosperous life, but you, like Rama, Krishna, and Gandhi, are immortal."

 

In his tweet, Anupam Kher also wished PM Modi a happy birthday and wished him a long and healthy life. "A very Happy Birthday to the man who has put India on the world map in ways we could never have imagined... the harbinger of acche din (good days), the leader of our proud nation," Anil Kapoor wrote alongside photos from his meeting with PM Modi. Ajay Devgn and Sunny Deol also wished the Prime Minister a happy birthday on social media.
