Digital Desk: A young man who had gone to watch the recently released movie Gadar-2 at a cinema hall in UP’s Lakhimpur Kheri died of a heart attack at the gate of the hall. This incident has been caught in the CCTV camera installed there. 

The deceased, identified as Ashtak Tiwari, was on the phone as it was captured on camera,  he collapsed after climbing the stairs.

When Tiwari arrived at the Fun Cinema Hall in the city to catch a screening of the movie Gadar-2 at around 7:50 p.m. on Saturday, the incident took place. He suddenly collapsed after climbing the steps, and those nearby hurried to assist him.

Tiwari's phone was unlocked allowing the bouncers and guards present to make calls to his family. He was admitted to a private hospital right awaywhere the doctors declared him dead on arrival, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Naipal Singh said.

An inquiry is being conducted, according to additional SP Naipal Singh, who also confirmed the death. The official stated that an investigation is underway into the matter and informed that Tiwari was a Dwarkapuri locality resident under the control of the Sadar Kotwali area.

Recently, a fight between bouncers and attendees of a Gadar-2 screening in Kanpur occurred as a result of the air conditioning system being disabled. The dispute started as a verbal one but quickly developed into a brawl.

It is to be noted that several people were injured in this incident, and the police have taken cognisance of the matter, with an investigation currently underway.
