Digital desk: A heartbreaking incident has shaken the Dolugang village of Ramakrishnanagar in Karimganj. A mother, identified as Shahanara Afrose wife of Shafique Uddin reportedly took the lives of three of her children and critically injured the youngest one.
The deceased have been identified as Shahajan Ahmed, Sukian Ahmed, and Majida Begum.
Shafique was out for work during the incident.
Witnesses, including local children playing nearby, saw Shahanara attacking her children and promptly alerted villagers. Upon arrival, the villagers discovered the infants' lifeless bodies in a pool of blood and found Sharmin critically injured.
Shahanara locked herself in a room after this brutal act. The motive behind her brutal actions remains unknown at this time.
