The appalling incident transpired at Rajdhani Lodge in Guwahati, where the victim was invited for the purported birthday celebrations of the accused.
However, she fell victim to a horrifying ordeal as she was allegedly drugged and subjected to sexual assault by Parvez Ansari, the accused, hailing from the neighboring state of Meghalaya. Shockingly, Ansari and the victim were acquainted, having studied together.
