The rhino's missing horn indicates that it was poached and the rhino had fallen victim to poaching...

Digital Desk: In a tragic incident, a one-horned rhino was found dead with its horn removed at Kaziranga National Park in Assam on Saturday morning, leading to speculations of poaching in the vicinity.

According to sources, the rhino's carcass was discovered in the national park's Burapahar range. The rhino's missing horn indicates that it was poached and the rhino had fallen victim to poaching.

Forest officials were notified of the unfortunate discovery, and they immediately reached the spot to bring back the carcass for post-mortem examination.

Although the exact cause of its death is not known, it is believed that poachers were behind the killing since the horn was taken.

Earlier this month, a rhino body was found in Gai Tapu, which is part of Kaziranga National Park. Employees of Gai Tapu noticed the body near the river's bank. The rhino is suspected to have died due to age-related issues.
