Mumbai: Bollywood Movie SHERSHAAH which is based on the real-life story of Captain Vikram Batra is getting praised by Critics and Audiences all over the Country.

The movie stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in the lead roles and was premiered on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video on 12thof August. Sidharth Malhotra who plays Captain Vikram Batra is being appreciated for his role and the audience is rating it as his career’s best performance so far.

Captain Vikram Batra’s family got emotional in the screening of the movie and appreciated the filmmakers for giving such a wonderful tribute to the Kargil Hero.

Captain Vikram Batra was an officer of the Indian Army. He was awarded, Param Vir Chakra India's highest and most prestigious award for valor, for his actions during the 1999 Kargil War, during which he led one of the most difficult mountain warfare operations in Indian history. Internal messages of the Pakistani Army intercepted by India often referred to him as Sher Shah ("Lion King").

Dimple Cheema, the fiancee of Captain Batra decided not to get married to anyone after he was martyred in Kargil War in 1999 and remains Unmarried to date.
