Mumbai: Veteran actor Anupam Shyam passed away at the age of 63 in a hospital in Mumbai after having multiple organ failures. He was admitted to the hospital last week due to a kidney infection, informed his friend Yashpal Sharma.

He was best known for his work in the hit TV serial “Maan Ke Awaaz Pratigya” and featured in movies like Slumdog Millionaire and Bandit Queen.
He breathed his last in the presence of his two brothers Anurag and Kanchan. Mr. Yashpal Sharma told him he was in the hospital with his brothers when the doctor informed them about his death.

Shyam recently resumed shooting for season 2 of his show “Maan Ki Awaaz Pratigya."
Last year his family requested help from his friends in the entertainment industry for his treatment. He was undergoing dialysis and was shifted to a hospital after he collapsed during his dialysis.
