Guwahati: Two graduates from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Silchar, provided technological support for farmers. They have started a start-up that will provide solutions for the farmers.

AgSpert is a fantastic start-up that utilizes technology for resolving modern-day farming difficulties and supports sustainable farming.

Post-graduate students Siddhartha S Bora and Dhritiman Talukdar from NIT, Silchar, have founded this start-up. 

As per sources, they incubated the start-up in 2000. AgSpert attempts to extend technology in farming practices. This plan will additionally bring a solution for the farmers who are facing modern-day issues in farming lands. 

Towards sustainable development, AgSpert further provides a host of services like on-demand UAVs and smart robot services for farming.

The robots used under the start-up can be used for crop spraying, early mapping of disease, real-time plant data management systems, etc.

Bora and Talukdar have set significant milestones for the plan. These graduates want this technology to make a reliable farm management app in the future. 

This start-up has also identified the onset of disease in the trial phase at Titabar saving potato crops of local farmers. 

Farmers have been facing several issues with modern-day farming practices. So, to solve their problems, such start-ups are reliable and beneficial.
