Digital Desk: Tensions are mounting again at Silsako in Assam's Guwahati as the eviction scenario worsens.

The police and local government are seeking to retrieve around 150 bighas of land that have been encroached upon.

Protests have erupted in response to the administration's eviction operations, resulting in conflicts between protesters and law enforcement officials.

According to reports, the executive magistrate and the chairman of GMDA are present in Shilsako along with over 2000 police officers who are being led by senior police officers.

Several protestors have been captured by police as a result of these clashes.

The conflict is still tense as the opposing groups maintain their positions, highlighting the continuous difficulties associated with property disputes and the challenging task of juggling legal requirements with social considerations.
