Digital Desk: On Saturday, the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in this country opened an unique help desk in honour of the International Day for Persons with Disabilities.
An official announcement stated that a special facilitation desk was placed at the departure forecourt to assist passengers with disabilities.
In front of senior airport officials, CISF personnel, and station managers from airlines using the airport, Chief Airport Officer Utpal Baruah opened the counter.
Purvottar Institute for Persons with Disability's principal director On this occasion, J P Sahariah and its students were cordially invited to the airport.
The institute's students also performed on a cultural event in the departure lounge.
