Digital Desk: Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma made a special trip to Swami Dayanand Ji Maharaj's samadhi at Swami Dayanand Ashram in Rishikesh ahead of India's key Test series against Australia.

Several photos of Anushka and Virat worshipping at the ashram have gone viral.

As per sources, at the ashram, Virat also obliged other devotees' selfie requests.

According to reports, Virat and Anushka will also take part in a public religious ritual at the ashram before hosting a bhandara (religious feast)
The former India captain is currently on leave from the T20I series against New Zealand.

Kohli has been named to India's Test squad for the first two matches against Australia. The first Test will take place on February 9 in Nagpur.
Since the Asia Cup last year, the former India captain has been performing in excellent form.

He scored four centuries — three in ODIs and one in T20Is — to bring his international tally to 74, and he can expect a few more against Australia during the four-match series if he continues in his current form.

In terms of the matches, Australia is set to tour India for a four-game Test series in the coming days.

The Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023 series will be crucial in determining the top two spots in the World Test Championship.
The top teams will advance to the playoffs for the one-time championship game at The Oval in June.

The series will begin on February 9th in Nagpur, with the ODIs beginning on March 17th in Mumbai.
