Digital Desk: Creator, director, and writer of 'Squid Game,' Hwang Dong-hyuk, just announced the return of two crucial characters for the Korean dystopian drama's second season. According to Deadline, Hwang and actress Park Hae-soo were there to explain what viewers may anticipate from the show's impending sophomore season.

"Gi-hun, without a doubt. He'll come back, and I believe the Front Man will as well, "Hwang said.

Although the characters' reappearance was anticipated, this is Hwang's first public recognition of their reappearance.
