The meeting was led by the Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police (DGP), alongside senior officials from the Home Department, District Commissioners, and Superintendents of Police.


Key directives issued during the session include:


Security and Deployment: Adequate paramilitary forces will be deployed at all counting centres. The administration emphasised that no compromises will be made regarding the security of strong rooms.


Public Order: A state-wide 'Dry Day' has been declared for the day of counting. Police have been placed on high alert to address post-election violence and prevent clashes during victory celebrations.


Regulatory Compliance: Strict instructions were issued to follow every guideline set by the Election Commission of India (ECI) to ensure a transparent and peaceful process.


Accountability: A zero tolerance policy will be enforced against any form of negligence.


The administration remains committed to maintaining law and order, ensuring that the counting process is conducted with the highest level of integrity.
