Guwahati: State Minister Bimal Bora turned emotional after watching the terrific match between Lovlina Borgohain and her German counterpart Nadine Apetz at Tokyo Olympics 2020.
The emotional minister expressed his happiness and pride on Lovlina's win and her subsequent advancement in the next level, inching her hope for a medal at the sporting event.
Lovlina showed her dominant streak inside the ring by winning in the 69 kg boxing category under Welter Belt. Assam girl Lovlina will now be facing her next bout on July 30 at 8:48 mins (IST) and will be contesting for the quarterfinal round.
