The long gap between seasons three and four of this amazing series from the Duffer Brothers left the audience hankering for more. Unfortunately, although the audience would prefer an endless supply of this show, it will eventually come to an end, like all other shows.
Netflix viewers adored the seven episodes of Season 4 Volume 1, released on May 27. Each episode was equally thrilling, humorous, heartwarming, and spooky. Now, the fans also experience Volume 2, which started on July 1. So, will there be a Season 5?
Well yes. Netflix and the Duffer Brothers announced about Season 5 in February of this year. In addition, the Duffer Brothers have recently hinted at potential plot details for the next volume. According to them, there may be a time jump, and more information will be revealed regarding Upside Down's beginning, background, and lore.
The unfortunate news is that Season 5 will be the show's final season, according to the creators. However, indications have been made that spinoffs might be possible, so this won't be the end after all. Season 5 has not yet begun filming, although it is expected to be released in 2024. Moreover, the release date has not yet been announced by Netflix.
