Subramanian Swamy outraged over remark made by Home Minister Amit Shah over Indian borders in Arunachal Pradesh...

Digital Desk: Subramanian Swamy, a senior BJP leader and former Rajya Sabha MP, slammed Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday for his remarks on Indian borders in Arunachal Pradesh on Monday.

Subramanian Swamy' Statement-

Swamy wrote in response to the headline of a news article citing Amit Shah's statement: "The Hindu headline today quotes Amit Shah as saying, "Indian Borders are safe; they cannot be violated." This is either a flat lie or his Himalayan ignorance. In either case, he is unfit to be Home Minister.

Subramaniam Swamy went on to say that it would be preferable if Amit Shah worked on Bambino's illegal dual citizenship. Amit Shah was in Arunachal Pradesh on Monday (April 10). During this time, he said, "No one can encroach on even an inch of land in the country. Subramaniam said while limiting his statement.

Home Minister Amit Shah stated on Monday that the time has passed when anyone could trespass on Indian territory and that no one dares to even look at its border.

Launching the Vibrant Villages programme in the border village of Kibithoo in Arunachal Pradesh, India's easternmost state, Amit Shah said the valour of army and ITBP personnel ensures that no one can encroach on even an inch of Indian territory.

Amit Shah's remark: The Modi government's top priority is border areas-

He stated that border areas are the Modi government's top priority, citing infrastructure and other development projects in the Northeast.

"The days of anyone encroaching on our lands are long gone. Now, not even a 'sui ki nook' (inch of land) can be encroached upon "said the minister.

Shah paid tribute to the Kibithoo martyrs who gave their lives during the 1962 war, saying they fought with an indomitable spirit despite a lack of resources.

In Arunachal Pradesh, no one says 'Namaste,' instead greeting each other with 'Jai Hind,' which "fills our hearts with patriotism," according to Shah.

"It was because of the Arunachalis' attitude that China, which had come to occupy it, had to retreat," Shah said.
