Digital Desk: Bollywood actor, Suniel Shetty, explained the causes of the rise in fatal accidents at gyms. Suniel claimed that the problem is with the supplements and steroids they use in light of actors like Puneeth Rajkumar, Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi, and Raju Srivastava who either died before or after working out.

Suniel claimed that the workout is not the issue because they are not pushing themselves over their comfort zones in an interview with Times Of India. He said, "It's heart failure, not a heart attack.

The actor also stressed the value of healthy food and getting enough sleep. And when he said that people should eat appropriately, he didn't intend to go on a diet; rather, he meant that the nourishment should be sufficient and appropriate. He also questioned whether the clubs were taking the proper safety measures before subjecting customers to intense workouts.

Suniel added Covid as another reason, "I must mention that after COVID, we must perform the test that determines whether our blood is clotting (D-Dimer Test). Blood clotting caused by COVID can be harmful."

When Siddhaanth passed away at age 46, the industry was in shock. The actor suffered a heart attack on November 11 while working out at the gym. Director Vivek Agnihotri responded to the situation by saying, "It is terribly terrible. Building a physically aggressive body without seeking medical guidance is proving to be risky. Instagram is to blame for the extreme levels of excessive gym use. It must be in balance."

In October 2021, the Sandalwood superstar Puneeth passed away. The morning before his passing, the actor, who was only 46 years old, reportedly felt chest trouble while exercising in the gym. Even Srivastava reportedly experienced chest pain when exercising on a treadmill in a gym, reports said. The actor later suffered a heart attack.
