He was arrested on charges of involvement in several illegal activities, including drugs-related offenses and possession of ganja.


The Basistha Police has reportedly uncovered substantial incriminating evidence against Deb Kamal Baruah.


So far, three individuals have been arrested in connection with the alleged illegal activities occurring within Guwahati Central Jail.
