Digital Desk: Cattle smuggling continues to be a pressing issue in Morigaon, with recent incidents highlighting the ongoing problem.
Early Sunday morning, around 5 am, an incident occurred in Dalbari, Morigaon, involving a vehicle transporting cattle.
Following the incident, some cattle smugglers abandoned the vehicle and fled with the cattle it was carrying.
When confronted on camera about the whereabouts of the cattle, several smugglers left the animals behind.
Subsequently, three cattle were recovered by local residents.
The exact number of cattle smuggled from the vehicle, which bore the registration number AS 01UC 0221 remains unknown.
The vehicle was reportedly being used to transport cattle through Morigaon.
