Digital Desk: Surbala Laishram Devi, a budding mixed martial arts (MMA) lady champion from Manipur, made history by being the first Indian fighter to win a gold medal at the Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts (GAMMA )world championship 2021 in Amsterdam. Surbala, a resident of Khangabok Sorok Wangma Part -1 in Thoubal district, won the 115 LBS Striking MMA finals by defeating Tomiris Zhussupova of Kazakhstan.
