As per BCCI sources, the Indian players were not given hot food to eat after their practices.

Digital Desk: Reports claimed that team India was dissatisfied with the after-practice meal they had in Sydney.

According to BCCI sources, the Indian players were not given hot food to eat after their practices.

Custom sandwiches were allegedly given on the post-practice menu.

The food provided to Team India was of poor quality. They were only handed sandwiches, and they also complained to the ICC that the food served during a practice session in Sydney was cold and tasteless, according to a BCCI source.

Notably, food will be provided at the T20 World Cup in 2022 by the International Cricket Council (ICC). After lunch, there won't be any hot food served by the ICC. In contrast, the host organisation is responsible for providing food in bilateral series.

As a result of being offered a location in Blacktown (a suburb of Sydney), which is around 45 minutes away from the team hotel where they are staying, Team India is also not taking part in the practice session.

According to BCCI sources, "Team India declined a practice facility in Blacktown (a suburb of Sydney), where it was provided because it was 45 minutes by car from the team's hotel where they were staying."

The Netherlands will play India in the next match, which is anticipated to take place at Sydney Cricket Ground on October 27.
