According to authorities, people threw stones on officials during the delineation of mining ghats in Gaya district's Belaganj police station. Following that, the police utilised light lathi-charge, water cannons, and tear gas shells to disperse the throng. They further claimed that the administration and Punj Sharma's gang, a sand mafia, are engaged.
