Guwahati: Speaking on the special door-to-door vaccination drive conducted by the district administration of Kamrup (M), District Commissioner Pallav Gopal Jha said that at present 22,83,445 vaccines have been administered to the eligible beneficiaries in Kamrup (M) alone.

Out of this, 12,73,093 have received the first dose of Covid vaccine and 10,10,352 have received the second dose vaccine.

Kamrup (M) has been divided into five zones for dissemination of covid vaccines under the door-to-door vaccination drive.

The Kamrup (M) district administration looks forward to achieve 100 percent total vaccination by December 10.

The state has so far vaccinated far more people than others in terms of first dose coverage. The state figure shows 79 percent corresponding to the national coverage.

Assam on Sunday recorded 133 new cases of Covid-19, taking the active caseload of 1,344. The positivity rate stood at 0.64 percent.

According to the data published by National Health Mission, 161 cured cases of the virus were discharged, and a single death was reported in Kamrup (R)
