The dead, named Neelima Ahmed of Salosuti village, drowned while bathing with a friend in the lake.
The tragedy has cast a cloud over the community.
Earlier that day, on July 28, a two-year-old child died after slipping into the water in Assam's Tezpur.
The tragic occurrence occurred when the child, Rihan Ali, slipped into a pond while playing in the backyard of the house in Raj Bharal village.
Despite rapid efforts to save the toddler, he died as a result of the incident.
The family and the community are in deep sadness and mourning as a result of the heartbreaking occurrence.
